Professional Development Workshops & Summer Courses in Biotechnology

The Biotechnology Program offers professional development workshops for DEB students throughout the academic year.  Each fall quarter, DEB students are invited to participate in the Resume / CV Building Workshop and the Internship Prep Workshop. Past workshops in the winter and spring quarters have included Regulatory Affairs, Science Communication, Science Policy and Grant Writing Basics. The topics for winter and spring quarter workshops will vary.

Fee-based summer technical courses on new biotech research techniques or data analysis approaches are sometimes available via partnership with academic and industry colleagues. Recent offerings have included an Introduction to R Programming and Cultivated Meat 101.
